Steve Wood has won multiple awards in a variety of facets of music production including film composition, music and commercial production. He won his fourth GSCA award for best score of the year 2005, for his score for "Greece - Secrets Of The Past" Listen to the 30 second piece above for an overview, then go to the various pages to explore more specific examples.

Steve completed two scores in2006 for giant screen films: on "Hurricane On The Bayou", for which he won another GSCA award for Best Score of 2006, he worked with many legendary musical talents from New Orleans, including Allen Toussaint and Marva Wright. On "The Alps" (another MacGillivray - Freeman Films production) Steve worked with the stunning lead guitarist from the band "Queen", Brian May!

Recently, Steve partnered with the Dave Matthews Band for the score for "Grand Canyon Adventure", with new music composed by him, Stefan Lesard and Tim Reynolds from that band. The film opened in March of 2008. Steve is now busy composing and recording music for the new Big Screen film, Arabia.

Having recently renovated and updated his studio, Steve has recorded many jazz albums for Ben Wendel, Kneebody, Jack Prather and Tigran Hamasyan. Check these out, they're amazing.
